Build a clear moving brief
A useful heavy-move enquiry joins the load, both properties and the transport. Start with what needs moving, then show how it reaches the vehicle and how it gets to its final position. The guides below help you collect the right information before a method and price are confirmed.

Explore servicesBefore you request a quote
State the preferred timing, pickup and receiving contacts and any building bookings already required. Identify who will disconnect, dismantle, crate, reconnect or commission equipment where relevant. If the item’s weight or access is uncertain, explain what is known so JB can identify the next assessment step.
Common planning questions
Should I select the machine before asking for a quote?
Describe the item, route and required final position first. JB can assess the handling stages and equipment rather than relying on an equipment name or rating alone.
Can the quote include both lifting and transport?
Yes. Ask for collection, lifting, loading, road transport, unloading and final placement as an agreed scope.
What if my details change after the quote?
Contact JB with the enquiry details and the changed load, access, date or position. The scope may need review before the move proceeds.
